WELCOME

In the Laboratory of Tissue Regeneration and Development, we are dedicated to unraveling the intricate dynamics of tissue repair and development, using mouse skin and embryos as our model systems. We explore the complexities of wound healing and tissue development in embryos, with a focus on understanding the roles of stem cells and their communication within the tissue microenvironment, including through extracellular vesicles. Our goal is to elucidate the underlying mechanisms governing these processes and provide innovative therapeutic strategies to advance regenerative medicine and address tissue-related disorders. 

조직 재생 및 발달 연구실에서는 마우스 피부와 배아를 모델로 하여 창상 이후 조직의 치유 및 재생, 그리고 배아 발생 중 조직 발달의 역학에 대해 연구합니다. 이러한 과정 중에 조직 내 줄기세포가 어떠한 역할을 하는지 관찰하고, 특히 줄기세포의 내재적인 변화 뿐만 아니라 줄기세포와 외부 주변 조직과의 상호작용이 조직 전반에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고자 합니다. 이를 통해 창상 치유, 배아 발생 중 조직 재생과 발달 과정의 기전을 밝히고 궁극적으로는 재생 의학적인 관점에서 조직 관련 질병의 새로운 치료 전략을 제시하는 것을 목표로 합니다.
